Now, to answer the burning question; what the fuck is Black Orchid Fashions? Black Orchid Fashions is a singular person who decided it was time to take life by the balls and get shit done herself.
My name is Rayna, and I’m the founder/owner of Black Orchid Fashions. I was born and raised in Southern California. I was that weird, scene kid that you probably avoided in high school. I’m an animal lover and a huge fan of all things Strange & Unusual. I got my first retail job when I was 16 and continued to float around in that dark abyss for 6 years before I decided that I wanted to be my own boss.
The idea of Black Orchid Fashions came to exist while I was working at a small boutique located in Los Angeles and made me realize, “Huh, I could do this.” After years of trying to establish what exactly I wanted to accomplish with my business; I decided to apply my love of tattoos, fashion, and all things alternative to create the shop you see today.
The main thing I knew right away that I wanted to incorporate into Black Orchid Fashions was bringing in tattoo artists to give my ideas life. That’s right, every graphic you see within this shop is drawn by one of the many incredibly, talented tattoo artists that I have the utmost respect for (and you can be tattooed by).
Black Orchid Fashions is one of MILLIONS of small businesses across the globe that aspires to make a difference on our own and create something we take pride in. We are here to bring joy to ourselves and all those who show support. We are a bad ass, mother-fucking boss that didn’t listen to those people who told us we’d never make it! We are here to build our own success story.
